Colleagues, fans pay tributes to Davidson Johnson

Colleagues and fans of the late actor and voice-over artist, Davidson Johnson, have continued paying tributes to him.

Recall that Davidson died on Thursday, June 2, 2022, after allegedly battling with kidney failure and some other ailments.

Mourning him on social media, actress and filmmaker, Chita Agwu, said, “Oh my God! Rest well, sir.”

Singer, Zubby Enebeli, wrote, “Rest in peace, heavy metal, good man, Johnson Davidson, it is well.”

Justqeenzeeka wrote, “Rest in peace, Uncle J. He gave me a platform to shine as a voice actor/artist. He will be missed.”

Mimionuoha3 said, “He was a good man and a good friend. Rest well, sir.”
Another follower, Alauju, commented, “Oh wow! The legendary (voice noted for the) ‘Idumota Lagos, grab your copy now’ advertising slogan used for marketing Nigerian films. Rest on comrade.”

Ena Ofugara wrote, “Davidson Johnson (Ashawo no be work) joins the ancestors. He was an actor, voice-over king and the owner of Heavy Metal Studio. His voice was usually heard on many home video promos, especially at the nascent stage of Nollywood. He will be missed by those who loved him. For those of us who are true fans of the entertainment industry and are lucky enough to know the people behind the scene, we will mourn a foundation layer and a really good human being. Rest in peace, sir.”
